Dr. Ilayan completed his undergraduate education from Wayne State University and completed his medical degree at Ross University School of Medicine. His training was at St. Joseph Mercy Hospital, finishing his residency in Family Medicine at Beaumont where he gained extensive experience across various specialties. Dr.Ilayan is a Board certified Family Medicine Physician.
Throughout his training, he was privileged with caring for patients in underserved communities, which deepened his commitment to compassionate care. His personal experience as a patient has also shaped his empathetic approach, ensuring that every patient feels heard and supported.
Dr. Ilayan’s special interests include a wide range of specialties including emergency medicine, outpatient procedures, weight loss, mental health, sports medicine, and chronic condition management.
Outside of medicine, Dr. Ilayan is a devoted husband and father to three daughters, which enriches his perspective and dedication to family-centered care. He loves being active and traveling with his family. He is excited to bring his diverse experience and personal commitment to our practice to achieve your health and wellness goals.
